Thank you all
First a great THANKS to all for your advices, remarks, help concerning the flute tree. It's coming up but not finished yet. I will show it soon.
I'm very busy for the moment as I will be, as the last past three years, present at the Fair called "Artisanales Médiévales" in Angles sur l'Anglin. So lots of work, assembling to do before the week-end of the 14th of July. If you happen to be close to this very beautiful village, don't hesitate to come say hello. I'll be very happy to meet you there.

I need your help
Ok, I've covered my second flute set a few days ago, but I'm stuck with the way to cover the flutes now. The first ones were covered with flower cannes, but these should be light, very light and I am hesitating.
As you have been many to encourage me with your comments, I thought you were the right persons to ask advise to.
So here are photos of the base, I'll be waiting for your suggestions.

Flûte...
A few weeks ago I bought this :
As soon as I saw it, I knew what I wanted to make of it. Because of the toughness of the project, I put it aside during long days... But two days ago, I said to myself : " When you gotta go, you gotta go! And I started working.
Two days and 300 gr of clay later, here is what it looks like, and I am very happy because it's exactly what I had in mind.
A few details
I was so happy that I ran to the shop to buy the two last pieces they had in order to do it again.

First of a series with the new flower canes
According to your demands, here is the first exemple of what I will be doing with the new flower canes. A flowery lamp with a predominant turquoise bleu.
More will follow, I have a demand in bordeaux and lots of other desires to satisfy.

Work in progress
In order to prepare new work for a fair mid-july and a very big fair in november (I know it's early, but never early enough, I'll tell all about it in time) here is a look at my last canes. I made the same flower (except one) in different colors in order to associate them on my lamps, mirrors and other jewels.
It represents around 2kg of clay! But after that I can start working calmly.
I also want to take advantage of this post to thank you all for your visits and comments . I'd rather have time to thank you individually, but not enough arms for the moment! So thank you once more.
